What stands out – both good and bad
The backyard access from my room was a delight, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The mattress pad felt a bit too plastic, which was mildly distracting during the night.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive.
The room was very spartan for the cost per night. Very worn out vintage furniture and only a hard wood chair to sit on. Clock didn’t work, lampshades torn, burnt out lightbulbs and no cups for water or coffee. The rooms need some TLC to justify the cost.

the room was defintely very spartan for the outrageous price. worn out furniture and broken amenities make me question their standards, not to mention not a single cup for coffee—how do they expect me to enjoy my stay? i was expecting a complimentary upgrade after these inconveniences but alas, just couldn’t risk it with such lackluster service.

The stay offered a peaceful location that felt like a retreat, complemented by a cozy atmosphere. Delicious refined dishes made meals enjoyable, while the friendly staff ensured a welcoming experience. However, the room's decor appeared outdated, and the small TV limited options for evening entertainment. Additionally, while the overall comfort was satisfactory, some furnishings seemed in need of updating to match the room's price point.

The room was spacious, perfect for our family, and having a kitchenette made meal prep a breeze. We loved relaxing at the backyard deck after a day exploring Pines Golf Course. Our little dog enjoyed the cozy space just as much as we did!
My kids wished for a larger TV for movie nights.

I had a lovely time enjoying the cozy room with a kitchenette and a great view of the river. The backyard deck was perfect for relaxing, and I appreciated the heat working so well on a chilly night. The only thing I noticed was that some aspects of the décor felt a bit dated, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊

The cozy kitchenette room made it easy to hang out and enjoy meals after exploring the nearby Pines Golf Course and Fort Ontario State Historic Site. Can't beat the great price for this place!
The TV was on the small side, which wasn’t ideal for movie nights with everyone.
